This is a placeholder post so the layout is in place before real content goes up. I’ll use this space for short, practical notes — how a specific neighborhood is trending, what a rate change actually means for a monthly payment, or what to expect during escrow — the kind of thing I’d tell a client over coffee.

How to add a new post

Create a new file in _posts/ named like 2026-10-15-fall-market-orange-county.md, with front matter at the top:

Jekyll picks up the date from the filename, builds the page automatically, and it’ll show up on the Insights page in order — newest first. No HTML to write, no manual linking required.
